Croeso i Dosbarth Oak 🌳

Welcome to Dosbarth Oak, a friendly and supportive classroom where children are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their independence and take pride in their learning.

Our class is supported by Mrs Magwood, Mrs Davies and Mrs Blundell, who work together to create a positive and nurturing environment where children feel valued, supported and ready to learn.

We provide a range of engaging learning experiences that encourage children to ask questions, develop their skills and challenge themselves. We aim to make learning enjoyable while helping every child reach their individual potential.

🏃 P.E.

Our P.E. session takes place every Friday. Children have opportunities to develop their physical skills, coordination, teamwork and confidence through a variety of fun and active activities.

Children should come to school dressed in their P.E. kit on their P.E. day. Please ensure that your child wears an appropriate P.E. kit and suitable footwear.

🌿 Outdoor Learning

Our Outdoor Learning sessions take place every other Tuesday, giving children regular opportunities to take their learning beyond the classroom.

These sessions provide children with opportunities to explore, investigate and learn through practical, hands-on experiences, while developing their confidence and appreciation of the natural world.

🏡 Homework

We encourage children to continue their learning at home and develop positive routines for independent study.

Homework opportunities include:

• ✏️ Spellings – children will practise spellings appropriate to their individual spelling group

• 💻 Google Classroom and Purple Mash – additional tasks and activities will be set as and when appropriate to support and extend classroom learning
