Croeso i Dosbarth Blossom🌸

Welcome to Dosbarth Blossom, a happy and welcoming classroom where children are encouraged to be curious, confident and enthusiastic learners.

Our class teacher is Miss Evans, supported by Miss Jones. Together, they create a nurturing and engaging environment where children can develop their independence, build confidence and enjoy learning through a variety of exciting experiences.

We believe in celebrating each child's individuality and providing opportunities for every child to flourish, develop new skills and enjoy their time in Blossom.

🏃 P.E.

Our P.E. session takes place every Monday. Children have the opportunity to develop their physical skills, coordination, teamwork and confidence through a range of fun and active experiences.

Children should come to school dressed in their P.E. kit on their P.E. day. Please ensure that your child wears an appropriate P.E. kit and suitable footwear.

🌿 Outdoor Learning

Our Outdoor Learning sessions take place fortnightly on Wednesdays. These sessions provide children with wonderful opportunities to explore, investigate and learn in the outdoors.

Outdoor learning encourages curiosity, creativity and independence, while allowing children to develop practical skills and enjoy hands-on experiences beyond the classroom.

🏡 Homework

We encourage children to continue their learning at home and enjoy sharing their learning experiences with their families.

Children can access a range of activities and resources to support their learning, including:

• 📚 Reading Books – opportunities to develop and enjoy reading at home

• 💻 Reading Eggs – supporting reading development in an engaging way

• ✏️ Spelling Shed – practising and developing spelling skills

• 🎨 Purple Mash – a range of interactive learning activities
